  • • Cancellations will be considered only if the request is made immediately after placing the order. However, the cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to the vendors/merchants and they have initiated the process of shipping them.

  • • TATHASTU INNOVATIONS does not accept cancellation requests for perishable items like flowers, eatables etc. However, refund/replacement can be made if the customer establishes that the quality of product delivered is not good.

  • In case of receipt of damaged or defective items please report the same to our Customer Service team. The request will, however, be entertained once the merchant has checked and determined the same at his own end. This should be reported within 2 Days days of receipt of the products. In case you feel that the product received is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 2 Days days of receiving the product. The Customer Service Team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.

  • In case of complaints regarding products that come with a warranty from manufacturers, please refer the issue to them. In case of any Refunds approved by the TATHASTU INNOVATIONS, it’ll take 9-15 Days days for the refund to be processed to the end customer.

Deepak Jha

My name is Deepak Jha, and my journey with The Desi Monk, an e-commerce brand for clothing and gifting, began in 2021. However, my story starts far earlier, back in 1994, when I was born in a small village in Bihar. My family moved to Mumbai in 1998, seeking better opportunities.

In 2015, I proudly graduated with a degree in BCom from Mumbai University. It was during my time at Bombay Tropper in 2012, where I worked as a production incharge, that I discovered my passion for graphic designing and the creative arts. The vibrant energy of Bombay Tropper sparked something within me, igniting a desire to explore the world of design.

Following my graduation, I pursued a degree in graphic designing from ICIT, completing it in 2017. Eager to further hone my skills, I ventured into various startup companies in Mumbai, working tirelessly as a graphic designer. Each experience taught me invaluable lessons, shaping my vision for the future.

Then came 2021—a challenging year for all, marked by the COVID-19 pandemic. Amidst the uncertainty, I saw an opportunity to bring my vision to life. Fueled by passion and determination, I launched The Desi Monk's website, offering a blend of traditional and contemporary designs that celebrate our rich cultural heritage.

The journey hasn't been easy, but every hurdle has been a stepping stone towards realizing my dream. Today, as I look back at the path I've walked, I am grateful for the support of my family, the lessons from my experiences, and the unwavering belief in my creative vision. The Desi Monk is more than just a brand—it's a testament to perseverance, passion, and the power of chasing one's dreams.

As I continue to grow The Desi Monk, I am excited about the future, eager to expand our offerings and reach even more individuals who share our love for unique, culturally inspired products. This journey is not just mine alone; it belongs to everyone who believes in the beauty of blending tradition with innovation.
